Candler Park is a quiet, largely residential neighborhood located just east of Atlanta. The area is named after the famous Candler Park which is a 55-acre city park that features a 9-hole golf course, a soccer field, basketball and tennis courts, and a playground.
Things to do in Candler Park
The Candler Park Conservancy has upcoming Active Lawn and Amphitheater projects planned to allow residents to enjoy more outdoor events planned in this space. Currently there are Movie Nights Under the Stars, Fall Festivals, Candler Park Music and Food Festival, Freedom Park is also a place to enjoy the outdoors, and McLendon Avenue is home to laid back cafes serving Southern Food Restaurants.
